About Us
The North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition is comprised of more than 35 organizations, government agencies, financial institutions, corporations, nonprofits, and individuals. Working together we are able to join forces to improve the personal financial literacy of all North Dakotans.
Our Mission
The North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition seeks to improve the personal financial literacy of all North Dakotans.
Our Goals
The North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition began as a series of informal meetings held in the fall of 2006 with a group of people interested in furthering financial literacy in our state. Official documents to become an affiliate of the National Jump$tart Coalition soon followed.
On September 28, 2006 the Coalition set forth the following goals:
- Provide for communication and sharing of ideas among agencies, organizations and individuals who have interest in and concern for financial literacy
- Promote and support financial literacy activities of North Dakota Jump$tart partners
- Establish a firm organizational structure, funding and budget
