When It Comes to Money, What Color Are You?
North Dakotans Invited to Expand Their Financial Literacy Knowledge
The North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition invites North Dakotans from all walks of life to participate in its 4th Annual Spring Conference, “The Color of Money,” on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Radisson Hotel in Bismarck. Teachers, parents, financial professionals and interested individuals can reflect on their own financial knowledge and gain much more through the various planned sessions.
Nationally recognized expert on kids and money, Susan Beacham, CEO of the Money Savvy Generation and creator of the Money Savvy Pig, will share the secret to teaching kids money management skills. Scott Davis with the ND Indian Affairs Commission will explain how tribal members manage income and their views on financial literacy, while Maritta Bush of the National Jump$tart Coalition will provide a national update regarding financial literacy. Another highlight
will be Colors temperament training, a tool to increase understanding, communication, motivation and positive relationships. See the entire agenda at ndjumpstart.org.
Early Bird Registration (by April 1) is $65 per person, or $25 for high school or college students.
